Something about seeing this bandana made me want to take this picture. It reminds me of one time at my former job, we tacked up a coworker’s wool shawl as a window covering. Everyone in my office thought it was perfect, it fit perfect, to prevent passers-by from peeking in while we were hard at work (or not). The colors were subtle and lovely, and cheered up the dull prison gray on the walls and cubicles. It reminded us the coworker who left it behind, and mysteriously never cared to visit again. The establishment thought it tacky, and replaced it with sterile white steel blinds. The blinds did their job, it subtly let us know our creativity was unappreciated.
