Sterling Nature Center, Cayuga County New York. I used to hang out here, when I lived two minutes away. I loved walking down to the water. I also loved the hiking trails. It looks like they built a few new ones. I plan on visiting next summer.
There is more forest here in the Adirondacks than in Sterling. However, Sterling felt safer and more like home. There were less black flies, no bears and not too many hunters to worry about.
Still being true to the skating for a few days, this is it for my post today.
