Gaining Daylight

Everyone talks about losing an hours sleep. It does suck. It happens to me so often all year I won’t notice the loss. I am ever so grateful for an extra hour of daylight at the end of the day. For me it means less depression and more opportunities. I can take more pictures, and if you have not noticed they are seriously lacking on my blog lately. I can take walks outside, once the snow melts. Around here it lingers longer than anywhere else in New York state. It is always 5-10 degrees cooler than lower elevations, sometimes more. I had more snow on my car this morning. The sun finally took care of it by this afternoon.

I made dinner for myself and I made hot dogs for my son and mother. Hot dogs always made me ill. My son use to take them to school everyday for lunch.  I read that there was proof that they caused stomach cancer so now I forbid him to eat them on a regular basis. My mom still buys them, because she gets cravings for them (an issue I won’t discuss). I made turkey burgers with cheddar and oven fries. I am not a vegetarian, but I don’t eat mammals. I also only have chicken, fish or turkey only a few times per week. I also had canned pears. I love fresh pears, but it is hard to impossible to find good ones so far from civilization. Tomorrow I will make my homemade pizza. I make three different ones. My mom loves to load it with onions. My son has plain cheese. I load mine with veggies with a small sprinkle of cheese. I will most likely have spinach, broccoli, red peppers and pineapple this round.

I only walked around a few stores today, and did the electrical stim on my arm. I know I desperately need more exercise, but my brain wanted a nap this afternoon.
