About

I have yet to find my superpower. I believe since everything in the universe was created from the same materials, we are all equal. Our atoms of course are arranged different from a coconut and each other, so what makes me unique? I had three strokes, that unfortunately is not unique, especially since the numbers of younger and younger stroke survivors are increasing. My last stroke was the catalyst for me to write this blog and explore the reasons I feel my life should be much better. If you read it from start to finish you might realize how I am slowly transforming and growing. I hope my children and grandchildren can learn from my mistakes and celebrate my triumphs as I learn to be “In Sync With The Universe”.

I strive to be stress free despite the hardships of single parenthood, low income status, and living with physical and cognitive deficits. I write about my stabs at overcoming anxiety, dreaming of my future travels in a van, and volunteering without too much fatigue. I use my unprofessional photography mostly to keep this an authentic window to my soul. I am also seeking my true soulmate. (which at this moment I think I have found online after one date)

Beautiful and intelligent Pittie Mix

  1. Good to meet you, Diana, and thanks for subscribing to my blog. I find you courageous and direct. Little by little, I predict you will become stronger and more confident in everything you undertake. And more relaxed. No, this is not a contradiction. Don’t think about it too hard, just breathe and it will begin to dawn on you. Peace be with you.

  2. Good to meet you, Diana, and thanks for subscribing to my blog! I find you courageous and direct. I predict that you will become stronger and more confident with each post. And more relaxed. No, that’s not a contradiction. Just breathe deeply; as you open up, you’ll find a peaceful place inside of yourself. My best to you on this part of your journey.

  3. Thank you for the comments…..I am picking up Blogging for Dummies, tomorrow from the library…hopefully it won’t all be over my head, or in too small to read print

  4. Hi and thanks for subscribing to my blog (Earthelder). Blogging is a lot of fun and addictive once you relax and begin to enjoy the process of learning more. If you really decide to go heavy into it, I’d recommend Kristin Lamb’s website. I don’t know it offhand, but it’s a WordPress blog and she even has online classes for blogging. Hers is geared toward writers, but if you’re writing posts, you’re a writer 😉 She also has a book called We Are Not Alone, and one something along the lines of Are You There Blog? It’s me, Kristin (the title might be different but it’s a play on another book with a similar title).

    • Looks like spam, and smells like spam….and I am vegetarian….so, no thanks….I don’t care if only one smart person reads my blog vs me trying to sell anything….I can sell seashells by the seashore.

  5. I like your blog – interesting writing and beautiful pictures! My husband is also recovering from a stroke, so I know how tough that is. I hope every day is a little better than the one before!

  6. I have read a few of your posts and thought to myself, “This is real. I like her already. I want to read more”. Now I’m following, so keep up the good work!

  9. You are doing so very great in just carrying on after all that you’ve been through. And yet, as the old song advises, you picked yourself up, dusted yourself off and have started all over again. You will be an inspiration to all who know you. And never give up seeking your super power; it will find you. And anything you can dream of is possible. You will find your passion; perhaps you are living it without being aware of the need to express yourself as a unique being. Have faith in yourself and in the universe.
